In the crypt of the Church of the Holy Apostle and Evangelist Mark, where the earthly remains of the royal couple Obrenović are located, a memorial service was held for King Alexander and Queen Draga, on the 122nd anniversary of their repose on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

The vicar bishop of His Holiness, Tikhon of Moravica, presided over the service, with the concelebration of the church brotherhood, and the prayerful presence of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Philip and Princess Danica Karađorđević, as well as other state officials and the faithful.

On this occasion, Prince Predrag, a representative of the Royal House of Obrenović, presented the “Takovo Bush” monument to the clergy of the church and Bishop Tikhon and thanked them for maintaining and nurturing the prayerful memory of the fallen royal couple.

In the crypt of the church, in addition to the royal couple Obrenović, the earthly remains of Ana Jovana Obrenović, Prince Milan M. Obrenović, and Prince Sergij M. Obrenović are also stored.
